Orbis Networks Delivers Groundbreaking Connectivity Projects

This summer, Orbis Network has reaffirmed its commitment to driving connectivity and customer extensions by playing a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the CommsWorld Project. At the heart of this project was the significant task of connecting 8 university sites across Nottingham, each with diverse fibre backbone links to two separate exchanges. Working seamlessly alongside industry partners from ITS, Matt Vause, and Lee Brooks, Plus Simon Glover (Gigalight) our team forged a strong collaborative effort and successfully delivered 360GB links to the data centres in collaboration with Gigalight and ITS.

Furthermore, our expertise was instrumental in the completion of the Spencer Academy Trust project. This endeavour encompassed intricate tasks such as cross-city splicing and the survey and installation of internal fibre routes, ensuring compliance with stringent fire safety regulations across 8 schools. Our adept handling of these challenges not only bolstered connectivity but also enhanced the safety and reliability of the network infrastructure, underscoring Orbis Networks' unwavering dedication to excellence in every project we undertake.
